Anthony Curtis established Beryk Corporate Services limited in 1997, on his retirement from the Metropolitan Police. Building on the skills and expertise gained over his thirty years service, together with his co-director, Joseph Hopkinson, he has added a wealth of commercial experience successfully conducting a wide spectrum of investigations throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and North America. Working for leading law firms, Lloyds insurance syndicates, financial institutions, in addition to corporate and private clients, Anthony has undertaken a wide range of investigations. He has established an enviable track record investigating matters as diverse as insurance claims, corrupt activity by individuals and corporate entities, as well as allegations of robbery, burglary and fraud. He is widely experienced in providing litigation support to court standard, tracing and interviewing witnesses, taking statements and gathering evidence. Together with his co-director, Anthony has been engaged on long term projects on behalf of the European Union in former Eastern Block countries. These projects were specifically designed to enable financial regulatory bodies in countries joining the European Union to put into place regulatory and investigation procedures aimed at preventing and investigating finacial crime, market abuse and money laundering.
In the course of his twenty-eight years as a career detective, Anthony specialised in the investigation of major and international crime, being attached for many years to the Flying Squad and then latterly the International and Organised Crime Group. This culminated in his leading an investigation into a team of international criminals engaged in a multi-million pound property fraud within the United Kingdom and other European jurisdictions.
